New to the workforce development field? Have a WIOA contract and are confused about what that means for you? Through this training, you will be able to navigate the local WIOA system in Cook County and understand the key provisions of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.
After attending this training, you will be able to:
- Recognize the basics of the federal legislation and the state governance processes
- Connect with local WIOA stakeholders
- Establish referral processes to benefit participants
- Utilize the WIOA performance measures
