Advanced Coaching Techniques

Building on the foundation of Strength-Based Coaching, this course focuses on deepening the skills and techniques coaches utilize with job seekers to achieve long-term goals. Through this training, coaches will develop their advanced coaching skills, learn about activities and tools to engage participants in coaching, and begin to explore concepts like self-management.

After attending this training, you will be able to:

• Deepen a collaborative, accountable partnership with job seekers
• Use activities and tools to support your job seekers in setting and achieving their goals
• Incorporate visioning, powerful questions, reframing, bottom lining, and accountability into your coaching sessions
• Practice self-management to center job seekers' goals and values

Course Pre-Requiste:

All participants must have attended a formal coaching training previously (i.e., CJC's Asset-Based Coaching or Strengths-Based Coaching, or the Prosperity Agenda's coaching training) as this class builds upon that training.
